Recode is reporting that Amazon’s digital antenna business is in a deep dive.
Amazon’s revenue for the fourth quarter of 2017 was $8.9 billion, up 12% year over year.
It was up 11% year-over-year and up 24% for the year.
Amazon still accounts for roughly 15% of all digital antenna sales, up from 14% in 2016.
Amazon’s digital antennas are a very big business for the retailer.
That’s because digital antennas aren’t just used for a few different applications, but also to help the company’s Alexa-enabled Echo devices to communicate with Amazon’s other Alexa-equipped devices.
The Amazon Echo was launched in 2015, and has been a major player in the home entertainment market.
Amazon has sold more than 200 million of its Echo devices since it launched, but it’s unclear if the Echo 2, which was announced in September, will also make a huge dent in the market.
In the digital antenna space, Amazon has struggled to compete.
The Echo has long been the king of the market, but there are other Echo devices out there.
Amazon also sells the Echo Dot, which is essentially a small Echo speaker that can play music through its speakers.
Amazon is also launching a new speaker, the Echo 3, that it says will be a great competitor to the Echo.
That speaker is reportedly due out later this year.
Amazon also has an entire line of digital speakers, but the Echo line is the most popular.
And that’s where Amazon has fallen short.
According to Amazon’s most recent earnings call, Amazon’s average revenue per unit of the Echo unit has fallen from $7.15 to $5.84 since 2017.
Amazon did not break out its revenue per speaker, but analysts at Bloomberg say it’s roughly $10 a unit.
Amazon has also struggled to attract new customers to its Echo speaker line.
Amazon doesn’t make it easy for people to sign up for the Echo speaker service, which only works with Echo devices that are already in your house.
Amazon says that people can sign up by visiting the Echo’s homepage, but many people don’t want to pay for a subscription service.
Amazon isn’t sure why, and there are reports of customers not getting the service when they try to sign in.
Amazon isn’t the only one struggling with this digital antenna market.
Apple’s Siri has become the dominant voice-controlled assistant on Apple devices, but Amazon has failed to catch up.
Amazon sells a lot of Alexa-compatible Echo devices, and it’s likely that the Echo will get a big boost in its popularity when Amazon finally brings Alexa to its new speaker.
Amazon is also going through a difficult time selling Echo Dot speakers.
Those devices are very cheap, but they are extremely limited in the amount of functionality they can do.
Amazon can only control up to four Echo devices at a time.
The new Echo Dot is also a limited-run device, and Amazon doesn.t have a price tag for the new speaker just yet.
