Sony has confirmed that its new Xperia X5 Premium will be available with a 3,100mAh battery, though we don’t yet know exactly what the battery capacity will be.
Sony has also confirmed that it will offer its premium Xperia X9 Premium with a higher resolution display, but that’s not the only reason why we’re waiting to get our hands on the new device.
In addition to the 3,000mAh battery size, we do know that Sony is introducing a new 5-megapixel camera in the Xperia X10 Premium and a new front-facing camera with 1080p video recording.
However, both the camera and the front-mounted camera feature a 2.1MP camera lens.
Sony’s new flagship device will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 processor and a 3GB RAM, and we’re expecting to see both the 810 and the 805 chips inside the device.
Both processors will feature a quad-core CPU, with the Snapdragon 820 processor coming in at 1.7GHz.
Both of the processors are powered by a 3200mAh battery and should run for up to eight hours on a single charge.
If you’ve been waiting for the new Sony Xperia Z4 to launch, we know that you’ll be able to grab it this week, and that’s a good thing.
Sony is expecting the new Xperia Z5 Premium to be announced on September 27, and then we’ll have a full review up for the device later this week.
