1 of 5 The Associated Press NFL draft will take place April 26, 2020, and the draft order will be announced April 30.
The draft order is not set, but the first-round pick (No. 10 overall) will go to the Houston Texans at No. 3, while the second-rounder (No.-24 overall) to the Buffalo Bills will go in the fourth round to the Washington Redskins.
The other picks to be taken are the Los Angeles Rams at No.-28 and the San Diego Chargers at No-29.
The first- and second-round selections, in particular, will be determined by a combination of production from the combine and college scouting services.
There will be no consensus as to which players will go first and second.
The NFL will also announce the compensatory picks in the order in which they are awarded based on the final draft order, which will be the order the league announces the picks of the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth rounds.
The compensatory selections will be based on how many first- or second- and third-round picks each team will receive, and then the compensators will be added up based on each team’s total picks and the compensator’s number of compensatory first– and two-rounders.
The final compensatory pick will be awarded based of how many compensatory second- or third-rounder picks each player receives, and finally, the compensating team will get a compensatory fourth-rounder.
The league will then announce the draft results at a later date.
